I'm a living contradiction to everything around me.

I have a hypothesis about the Tom Cruise affair.

Ok,first off,i’m sympathetic to both of them.I’m sorry that she had to suffer through such a apparent difficult marriage and I’m sorry that his wife thought that it would be a good idea to announce her divorce from him days before his 50th birthday.

Tom Cruise’s 50th birthday is a big deal. If you don’t think so, hard cheese.Tom Cruise grew up as one of the most good-looking men in Hollywood history.Apart from the all the other craziness,I think it should have been highlighted more and indeed it would have been had it not been for the wife. The man who gave us soooo many incredible films has reached a milestone. And we ought to lend our cheer to it.(Not to mention we saw only last year, said actor pulling out all the stops for the latest Mission Impossible installment.)

I think that since his couch-jumping,Brooke Shields criticizing,Matt Lauer days,Tom has wised up.

I feel he’s seen how scientology has totally fucked up his life in the past and he has questioned his involvement in the cult. He cant leave it,however. Even if he decided to leave he doesn’t have the B-class status like his soon to be former wife so that he can just disappear. He’s Tom Cruise. He’s a gigantic movie star. Remember that a big part of scientology is about sharing one’s innermost most personal secrets with them(with the e-meter).This isnt a way of releasing stress or whatever. It’s so they can gather info about you so that if you try to leave, they’ll use it against you.

And boy,I bet Tom has told them a great deal.Imagine if he really is gay. They would know that.Since he’s so petrified of the public thinking he’s gay,you can see why he’ll do anything to keep that secret from coming out, if it were true. Not to mention a whole shitload of other stuff that would permanently kill his career.I don’t know what that stuff could be but if it’s bad enough to keep him tied to the cult,it’s bad.

I bet when he’s alone—and I mean truly alone,he cant help but reflect on what a mess his life’s been and how much of it is his fault and how scientology is involved.

so this farce that he puts up in public that he loves scientology and is active in it etc is probably a front.he could be stuck and/or trapped in his life.it’s akin to a deal with the devil:you sell him your soul(in this case, tom’s allegiance) he gives you riches beyond your wildest dreams and a seemingly perfect life. But after a while, you realise that things are not how you thought it would be.you still have all your wishes and riches but you’re unhappier than ever. You want to get out from it but you cant because living that kind of barren life is better than living with nothing at all.

so don’t be too harsh on him…you can never really know what’s going on,esp in his head.
